The recently opened Valley Land Trail at ΟγΈΫΑωΊΟ²ΚΧΚΑΟ Scarborough βreflects our commitment to inclusive excellence,β Wisdom Tettey, vice-president and principal of ΟγΈΫΑωΊΟ²ΚΧΚΑΟ Scarborough, told CTV News.
Tettey said the 500-metre trail, which was opened to the public on Aug. 29, was put in place to help the community better access and enjoy the ravine abutting the campus. It was designed for accessibility year-round.
Tettey said ΟγΈΫΑωΊΟ²ΚΧΚΑΟ Scarborough hopes that, by using the trail, the community will become better stewards of the environment.
βItβs been a fabulous experience for people whoβve had a chance to enjoy it,β Tettey said.
