Borodin is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)&nbsp;and a recipient of the 2008 CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize, and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Canadian Association of Computer Science.</p> <p><strong><img class="migrated-asset" src="/sites/default/files/9552-9552-drake.jpg" alt>James Drake</strong>, a professor of surgery in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and surgeon-in-chief at the Hospital for Sick Children, was named a Member of the Order for his leadership in the field of pediatric neurosurgery and for his contributions to the treatment of complex childhood disorders. The long list of honourees with ties to 香港六合彩资料 include alumnae such as&nbsp;<strong>Anne Innis Dagg</strong>, a zoologist and feminist, and&nbsp;<strong>Cheri DiNovo</strong>, a&nbsp;reverend and former MPP. Soon after, at 23, she arranged to stay at a farm in South Africa 鈥 using only her initials in correspondence to avoid discrimination 鈥 in order to study giraffes in the wild. She's credited with being the first to conduct system observations of a large mammal in the wild, even before Jane Goodall and Dian&nbsp;Fossey studied primates.&nbsp;</p> <p>After returning to Canada and facing sexism in her field,&nbsp;she promoted gender equality on top of continuing her ground-breaking scientific work. A 1965 graduate of McGill medical school, Buncic completed his ophthalmology residency at 香港六合彩资料 in 1970. He has maintained an interest in clinical research related to pediatric and central nervous system disorders during his career. 鈥淔or his pioneering contributions to the field of pediatric neuro-ophthalmology, notably through his mentorship of multiple generations of pediatric eye specialists,鈥 Buncic has been named a Member of the Order.</p> <p><strong>Chaim Roifman</strong> is a professor of pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine at 香港六合彩资料 and head of the division of immunology and allergy at the Hospital for Sick Children. He is best known for discovering a rare congenital disorder that bears his name 鈥 Roifman Syndrome 鈥 as well as uncovering its genetic cause.
